Wilma Arlene Burk

Wilma Arlene Burk, 89, of Union City, IN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at her home. She was born on July 10, 1932, in Randolph County to the late Otis and Beatrice (Pearson) Lamb. She married Fred Burk January 16, 1952, and he proceeded her in death in 2016.

Wilma graduated from Wayne High School in 1950. She was a homemaker and helped her husband Fred on the farm. In her free time Wilma enjoyed sewing, painting , quilting, and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Rex (Gwen) Burk of Union City, Ind.; two daughters, Cindy (Brian) Humphrey of Rushville, Ind., Tammie (Ed) Dickison of Elkhart, Ind.; nine grandchildren, Stacy (Dan) Chesterfield, Kristen (Justin) Melton, Alicia (Matthew) Davis, Ryan (Lindsey) Burk, Matthew (Amy) Humphrey, Jana (James) Benner, Derrick Dickison, Jason Dickison, and Laura (Billy) Rice; Eighteen great grandchildren, ; special friends John (Prudie) Schmidt, two nieces and one nephew.
She was also preceded in death by her brother Duane Lamb, and sister, Norma J. Wasson.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Wilma's life will begin at 1:00 pm with John Hannum officiating.
Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester, IN.
