William Roger Hunt

William Roger Hunt 92 of Union City, OH passed away on August 5, 2025, at his residence. He was born on January 19, 1933, to the late Leonard Hunt and Bertha (Ryan) Hunt. He married Luemma Westfall on June 15, 1957, and she preceded him in death.

Roger went to Pennville High School and was in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1960. He worked at the Union City Body Company in the paint department for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing golf at the Union City Country Club, bowling, trained horses and golden glove boxing. He was a member of the UAW local #494, Darke County Horseshoe club, Pequanna Gun Club and served as a councilman for Union City, OH.

Survivors include his children Roger (Leilani) Hunt of Thompson Station, TN, Jerry (Joyce) Hunt of Winchester, IN, David Hunt of Union City, OH, grandchildren Jessica (Drew) Hunt, Nicki (Joe) Wilson, Matthew R. Hunt, Sydney Hunt, Julie (Mark) Lewis, Britney Braxton, Whitney Braxton, great grandchildren Jazzmine Howell, Cameron Keen, Kati McDaniel, Everly Fite, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and sisters Marjorie, Norma Jean, Mary Esther, Jerry, and Patty.

The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday August 8, 2025, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN 47390.

A funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with military honors to follow at Union City Cemetery.
