Wanda L. Runkel, 102, passed away peacefully Thursday December 24, 2020 at Summer's Pointe in Winchester, IN. She was born Nov. 6, 1918 in Blackford County, IN to the late Leonard and Pearl Penrod. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
She will be missed by her sons Jerry (Mary) Runkel of Winchester, IN, and Phil (Teresa) Runkel of Jonesboro, AR; grandchildren, Deborah (Steve) Griebel, Jeff (Jackie) Runkel, Scott (Jenny) Runkel, David Runkel, Kevin (Pauletta) Runkel, John Runkel, Jim (Jenny) Runkel, Jennifer (Travis) Cude, Ryan Runkel; 14 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren;
She was preceded by her parents; husband, Harold E. Runkel "1998;" a son, Larry Runkel "2019;" 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
