Wanda Lenkensdofer

Wanda Lenkensdofer 97, of Union City passed away on September 24, 2026 at Reid Hospital in Richmond. She was born on September 15, 1929 to the late Robert Cox and Dorothy (Retz) Cox.

Wanda enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren’s activities as well as family get togethers for any occasion.

Survivors include her sons Mark (Bev) Lenkensdofer of Parker City, IN, David (Maryann) Lenkensdofer of Union City, IN, grandchildren; Melissa Sills of Cape Coral FL, Steven (Denise) Farmer of Westfield, IN, Toni (Jason) Peperak of Parker City, IN, Megan (Timothy) Bush of Yorktown, IN, James (Tracy) Plessinger of North Carolina, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband John “Bud” Lenkensdofer and daughter Cheryl Haynes.

The family will receive visitors from 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday September 30, 2026 at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN 47390. A funeral service to celebrate Wanda’s life will begin at 1:00 with burial to follow at Fountain Park Cemetery.
