Virginia W Caupp

Virginia W. Caupp, 91, passed away Sunday October 24, 2021, at Upper Valley in Troy, OH. She was born Sept 17, 1930, in Mercer County, OH daughter of the late Clem and Myrtle (Teeter) Franklin.

Survivors include sons, Brad Caupp, Gordon J. Caupp; son-in-law, Dan J. Gelhaus; grandchildren, Josh (Trish) Caupp, Whitney (Adam) Wolters, Wes (Kelsey) Gelhaus, Wade Gelhaus; 8 great grandchildren and dear family friend, Leanna Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Charlie Caupp “2007,” daughter,
Catherine Gelhaus “2021,” and 2 brothers, Atley Franklin and Junior Franklin.

Virginia can best be remembered by her sweet smile and kind personality. No matter the day or time she always had a smile to give and love to share. Never too busy to lend a helping hand she had a heart of gold full of love poured out religiously to those dear to her. Some of her best years included the 10 spent babysitting and 24 years spreading her cheer in the cafeteria line treating every child like her own. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church. Virginia adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed dearly by all.
