Vera Jean (Addington) Coby, 89, Union City, passed away Thursday April 9, 2015 at Wayne Hospital Greenville, Ohio.
She was born December 16th, 1925 in Jay County, Ind. daughter of the late Clarence and Mae Bickel LeMaster. Vera was an LPN at Crotinger Nursing Home for 17 yrs and worked at the U.C. Hospital. She belonged to the First Christian Church and Eastern Star #444.
Vera leaves to cherish her memory; children Allan (Loretta) Addington of U.C., Ind. and Lewis (Diane) Addington also of U.C., Ind.; grandchildren, Scott (Melissa) Addington, Chris (Margie) Addington, Kevin (Brandy) Addington, Nikki (Brian) Black, Sherri (DeWayne) Slaughter, Lori Addington, Christina (Travis) Guinn and Joey (Megan) Addington; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson, nieces and nephews also.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Leland Addington “1968,†2nd husband Glen Coby, a daughter Marilyn Berte, 2 brothers, Kenny LeMaster and Garth LeMaster, 1 sister, Mary Hummel.
Visitation will be 12 noon – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 14th, 2015 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Rd. Union City, Ind., with services to follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. and the Rev. Bruce Bryan officiating. Burial will follow at the Maxville Cemetery.
