UNION CITY, IN - TREVA BELL (WOODS) GREEN, 91, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 29, 2016. She was born July 11, 1925 daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Bessie (Stewart) Woods in Randolph County.
Treva was a devoted member of the Harrisville Congregational Christian Church. Throughout the years, one could always find her spending time with friends and family. Be it weekly euchre games with her close friends, or visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she loved to stay an active participant in the lives of those she loved.
Although “mother†and “wife†would undoubtedly be at the top of her list of accomplishments, she was also a dedicated businesswoman, working at and retiring from the Union City, OH branch of Farmers State Bank; a successful career spanning 28 years.
Treva was preceded by her parents; beloved husband, Gail Green; a son, Dan Green; infant sister, Donna Woods; two brothers, James Woods and Gerald Woods.
She is survived by two sons, Steve (Julia) Green; Tim (Tammy) Green; daughter-in-law, Janelle Green, all of whom reside in Winchester, IN; five grandchildren, Eric Green, Tara Green, David (Megan) Green, Ashley Green, Danielle (Micah) Morris; three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews also.
Visitation is 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Harrisville Congregational Christian Church. Services are 2:00 pm also at the church with the Rev. Coleman Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery.
