Sue 'Susi' Katherine (Best) Smoot, 74, passed away Saturday May 13th, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 5th, 1942 in Union City, IN daughter of the late Robert and Georgianna Wallick Best.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and the Tri-Kappa-Gamma Sorority, she also loved antiques.
Survivors include her son, Eric (Jenny) Dodd of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Gavin, Hope, Chantz, and Karley Dodd; a sister, Beverly (Leo) Hartings of Shelby, OH; nieces and nephews also.
She was preceded by her parents, and a daughter, Kimi (Dodd) McCord.
Visitation is 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 17th, 2017 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday also at the funeral home with the Rev. Geoff Grow officiating. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery.
