Shirley Ann Mangas

Shirley Ann Mangas Jenkins, 86, life-long resident of Union City passed away Wednesday December 22, 2021 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, IN. She was born October 21, 1935 in Union City, IN daughter of the late Paul J. and Pearl Puthoff Managas.

Shirley was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Union City where she played the organ along with many other musical instruments. She was a Respiratory Therapist for many years.
Survivors include her children Robert (Misti) Burns, Rocky (Amanda) Burns; grandchildren Paul, Joe, Sam, Angela, Diane, Jacob, Levi, Stefani, Zackery, Louis, Lisa, Roy, Courtney and David; 27 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; a brother William (Gerri) Mangas; nephews Bill, Joe and James Mangas.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Max Jenkins and a granddaughter Cassidi.
Visitation is Monday December 27, 2021 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd, Union City, IN. A service will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be held later at the convenience of the family in the Union City Cemetery.
