Shirley Mae Gower

Shirley Mae Gower of Union City, IN passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023, with her family by her side.  She was born on November 7, 1963, to the late John and Nettie (Emrick) Martin.

Shirley was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Bruce Gower of 42 years, children; Michael (Joice) Gower, Justin (Jessica) Gower, Alisha (Zachary) Pruitt, grandchildren; Isaac, Zaylee, Bryson, Xander, Abi Mae, Liam, Hadleigh, Noah, Maesley, siblings; Karen Martin, Jim (Kerri) Martin, Kenny (Aimee) Martin, Jennifer (Daniel Odeneal) Martin, brother-in-law Michael Hummel, and several nieces’ nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Robert (Bob) Gower, and sister RuthAnn Hummel.

Visiting hours will be from 2:00pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday June 4, 2023, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN with funeral services to begin at 5:00pm.

Burial will take place later at the convenience of the family.
