Shelvia Mock

Shelvia J. (Spitzer) Mock, 82, left this world and was received into heaven by the Lord on Nov. 17, 2018.  There she was met by her parents Ralph and Chloe (Broyles) Spitzer, her in laws, Ralph and Mabel (Hartzell) Mock; also, there to greet her were her brothers Von and Don, and Don’s wife Peggy; her sister Gladys; brother in law Charles Smith husband of sister Nell Rose; brother in law Ronald Mock; sister in law Mabel Mock.  
Shelvia was born in Wesbourne, TN on June 26, 1936 and was raised in Lafollette, TN.  She was a well-known member of the community supporting not only her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren but all of the children in the community sporting activities.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church Union City, OH; and worked at Westinghouse in Union City from 1969 to 1986.
She leaves behind her husband of over 60 years Norman Mock; one daughter, Beverly (Mock) Gard; four sons, Mike and Gary Mock of Union City, IN; Mark Mock, wife Cindy (Keil) Mock (deceased) of Raymore MO; Dale Mock wife Karla (Good) Mock of Warner Robins, GA; 5 grandsons, Brian and Brad Gard, Michael, Lance and Jeremy Mock; 4 granddaughters, Brandi (Gard) Douglas, Nicole (Mock) Johnson, Jamie (Mock) Wyatt and Jessica Mock; 28 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; brothers, Keith wife Shirley, Kenny wife Joyce and Errol wife Linda; sisters, Reba Richmond, husband Chester and Nell Rose Smith, husband Charles (deceased); brothers in law, Marvin, wife Bonnie and Francis, wife Janice; sisters in law, Wanita Poffenbarger, husband Gary and Janice Sides, husband Dennis; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours are Tuesday 20 Nov 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Funeral Services are 1:00 PM Wednesday Nov. 21 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Union City cemetery, Union City IN.
