Sharon Ann Watkins

Sharon Ann Watkins, 75, of Union City, Ohio passed away Monday July 1, 2019 at her residence. Sharon was born February 23, 1944 in Richmond, Indiana the daughter of the late Ernest & Florence Gross Fleenor.
She worked at Belden in Richmond, Indiana for 40 yrs. where she was a member of the25 Year club., was a graduate of Lynn High School, and a member of First Baptist Church in Union City, Ohio. She loved reading, word search puzzles, playing computer games, and loved her dog Princess. Sharon especially loved spending time with Kenzie who she loved as her own.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Newton of U.C. Ohio; brother, Dennis (Leisa) Fleenor of Indpls., Indiana; sister, Marcia Suddarth of Lynn, Indiana.
Sharon was preceded by her parents; and a brother, Mark Fleenor.
A Memorial Gathering to remember Sharon's life will be held Friday July 5, 2019 from 1-2 PM at the First Baptist Church in Union City, Ohio. A brief service will follow at 2:00 PM also at church with the Rev. Luke McKeeth officiating. There will be a meal afterwards that friends and family are all welcomed to attend. Burial will be held later at the convenience of the family.
