UNION CITY, Ind. - Sandra Kay Parent, 85, passed away June 9, 2021. She was born December 3, 1935, daughter of the late Ralph E. and Inez M. Marsh Welbourn Sr.
She was well read with a good sense of humor, loved music, gardening and walking. She enjoyed refinishing furniture and earlier operated a family photo business. She was born and lived her entire life in Union City.
She is survived by her only son, John G. Parent and his wife Anne Parent-Perret and her two grandchildren Atis and Ieva.
Other close relatives include Susan and David Wadleigh, Johnny and Jimmie Welbourn, and David and Phyllis Harris.
Sandra was preceded by her parents; husband of 40 years, John R. Parent in 1995; brothers Ralph E. Jr. and Barney; and a sister Joan.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
