Robert Keith Hunt

Robert Keith Hunt, 72 of Union City, IN passed away on January 13, 2026, at Union City Care Center. He was born on January 29, 1953, to the late Robert L. Hunt and Phyllis Jean Mangas Blackford Hunt Horn.

Robert served in the Army National Guard for 22 years. He also enjoyed playing golf.

Survivors include his children; Matthew (Kimberly) Hunt, Wade (Billie) Hunt, grandchildren; Lindsay (Duran) Bocanegra, Alison (Sean) Maddin, Baylie Hunt, Kelsie (Justin) Miller, Sidnie (Darin) Miller, Aron (Krista) Hunt, great grandchildren Preslie, Duran, Desmond, Brantley, Rylie, Laynee, Ava, siblings; Phillip (Tami) Hunt, Sherry (Paul) Roberts, Ted (Cheryl) Horn, James (Sharon) Blackford and 46 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Dickie Blackford.

There will be a public visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday January 17, 2026, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN. A service to honor Robert’s life will be held at 1:00 with burial to follow at Union City Cemetery.
