Robert Charles Cox, 95, passed away Monday January 9, 2017 at Randolph Nursing & Rehabilitation in Winchester, Indiana. He was born September 11, 1921 in Randolph County, Indiana to the late Roy & Nell Abel Cox. Robert helped his family farm before there were tractors and lived on the family farm til it sold. He worked for Overhead Door in Richmond, Indiana for many years. Robert attended the Bartonia Methodist Church, was very active in Union City Masonic Lodge, loved sports and watching them on T.V.
Survivors include a Twin sister, Roberta Kolde of Anderson, IN; a brother, Kenneth Cox of Union City, IN; 9 Nieces and nephews.
Preceded by his parents; 2 brothers, George and Roy Cox; a sister, Margaret Cox.
Visitation is from 12 noon – 1:00 pm Thursday Jan. 12, 2016 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd, Union City, IN. Services are at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Bobby Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Robert’s memory to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
