Robert "Bob" Hummel

Robert “Bob” Hummel, 69, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, at his residence. He was born February 11, 1954, in Union City, Indiana son of the late Walter Wayne and Ruby Jane Whitacre Hummel.

 Bob was employed at the Union City Body Company then owned and operated Hummel’s Shoe and Repair Shop in Union City for many years.

 Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Judy Fields Hummel; an uncle Lowell Whitacre; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins also survive.

 In addition to his parents he was preceded by a brother William Hummel “1972.”

 Visitation will be from 10 AM – 12 Noon Friday March 3, 2023, at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Funeral services are at 12:00 Noon also at the funeral home with burial to follow in the New Lisbon Cemetery.
