Phyllis I. Mangas

Phyllis I. Mangas 94, of Union City, IN passed away on November 18, 2025, at Heritage Assisted Living. She was born on March 25, 1931, in Union City to the late Roy and Ethel (Rohr) Stewart.

Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family, especially grandchildren, being on her farm, coloring, puzzles, and reading. She was a member of Harrisville Congregational Chrisitan Church for many years.

Survivors include her children Brenda (Steve) Wilson of Winchester, IN, Jana (Chad) Estle of Ashland, OH, 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hubert “Bud” Mangas Jr., son Bob Mangas, brother Richard “Dick” Stewart, sister Patricia “Pat” Hall, and son in law Glen Cox.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday November 22, 2025, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, IN.

A private funeral service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harrisville Congregational Christian Church, 4900 E South St. Union City, IN 47390 or missionaries Brad and Michelle Harry with CRU and the Hollinger’s with TWR. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
