Philip "Fat" Prescott

Philip “Fat” E. Prescott, age 90 passed away April 13, 2023 at PineKnoll Rehabilitation Centre in Winchester.  He was born on March 19, 1933, to the late Rock and Josedena (Grice) Prescott.

Philip served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Clear Creek Church, and Saratoga Lions Club, where he held various officer positions.  He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed traveling, and working on his farm.

Survivors include his Wife, Bernice (Mills) of Winchester, children: Connie (Bill) Bower of Winchester, IN, Doug (Lisa) Prescott of Bardstown, KY, Julie (Gary) Foltz of Bay Port,  MI, Glen (Becky) Merry of Saint Henry, OH, Bobbie Imel of Portland, IN. Grandchildren: Zach Bower, Jack Prescott, Anna Prescott, Trinity Smiley, Bret Foltz, Wade Foltz, Chris Merry, Kristin Norris, Danielle Schott, Dustin Merry, Amidy Merry, Ashley Merry,  Abbie Affolder, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Phyllis Scholl, and siblings Robert Prescott, Reuben Prescott, Dale Prescott, Imogene Raszkowski, Helen Blackford, Jack Prescott, Charles Prescott, Joan Wilcox, Phyllis Collins, Joyce Summers, and Tuck Prescott.

Visitation will take place on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, IN 47390 with services to begin at 1:00.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
