UNION CITY, OH - Perry "Bill" Whitesel, Jr, 80, passed away Sunday June 20, 2021 surrounded by family. He was born October 8, 1940 in Union City, IN son of the late Perry and Edna (Snyder) Whitesel, Sr.
Bill was a factory worker and lifelong cattle farmer. He raised short-horn cattle and was a 4-H Advisor for many years. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Phyllis (Green) Whitesel; son, Mike (Bonnie) Whitesel of Ansonia, OH; grandchildren, Jonathan (Sara) Curtis, Cierra (Matt) Pescara and step grandchild Stacey Whitesel; great grandchildren Conner Curtis and Harper Pescara; sisters Pat Nolan of Eaton, OH and Pam Prescott of Englewood, OH; sister-in-law, Joyce Hoggatt of Lake Havasu, AZ; several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded by his parents, children Perry Allen Whitesel III, and Steven Whitesel.
Visitation is 5-7 PM Thursday June 24, 2021 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union CIty, IN. Services are 11:00 AM Friday June 25, 2021 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Union City, IN. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery.
