Patricia “Pat†Taylor, age 79, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, peacefully in her home in Nappanee, IN surrounded by family.
Patricia is survived by her children, Terry Welch (Christina) of Union City, IN; daughters, April Welch of Syracuse, IN, Jackie Speake (John) of Elkhart, IN, Barbara Welch of Nappanee, IN; brother, Gary Taylor of Ridgeville, IN; sisters, Jo Parret of Florida, Melissa Oswald of Union City, OH, Louise Byrum of Florida; 27 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great Great Grandchildren; nieces; nephews, and other family and friends
She was preceded by her son, Brian Welch of Greenville, OH; parents, Richard and Nova Taylor; and brother, Dallas Taylor.
Patricia was born in Ridgeville, Indiana on August 26, 1941 to Richard and Nova Taylor. She graduated from Union City Community High School and was homemaker most of her life. She deeply cared for her family and always made time for anyone that needed her love and support.
Patricia was a devoted mother and loyal friend to many. She enjoyed reading her bible, listening to worship music and spending time in prayer. She served many years at Calvary Assemblies of God and loved her church family deeply. Her love for Jesus shined brightly throughout her life and she blessed so many lives around her.
A viewing will be held December 17, 2020, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on December 18, 2020 at the Reichard Funeral Home in Union City, IN Masks are required. Open to the public for viewing. Services are limited to family due to Covid virus. Please make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her memory.
