Ora Max Mills, 86, of Union City passed away Monday May 7th, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 3rd, 1931 son of the late Claude and Myrtle Shook Mills.
Max was a life-long farmer, was a member of Spartanburg United Methodist Church, worked as an INDOT Inspector for 24 years, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Marilyn Tillson Mills; children, Danny Mills of Richmond, IN, Kevin Mills of Winchester, IN; sisters, Lorene Himebaugh of Richmond, IN, Fae Spradling Bower of Winchester, IN, Wanda Bowman of South Bend, IN, Joan Huffman of Winchester, IN, Judy Hansen of Greenfield, IN; nieces and nephews also.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Nancy Marie Mills "1987," 6 brothers, Edwin, Ivan, Larry, Lloyd, Herman and Leland Mills; a sister, Barb Maner.
Visitation is 4-6 P.M. Thursday May 10, 2018 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc, 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Services are 11:00 A.M. Friday May 11, 2018 with the Rev. Jan Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in the Spartanburg Cemetery, Spartanburg, IN. Military Burial Rites will be conducted by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
