Nora Mae Leaver

Nora Mae Leaver 76 of Union City, IN passed away on January 18, 2026, at home surrounded by family. She was born on July 5, 1949, to the late Jordan Gray and Dora Sizemore Gray.

Nora loved spoiling her grandchildren with toys and sweets. Nora also loved sitting on the porch at Roy and Minnie’s house, watching the birds and wildlife. Nora also loved to visit Florida in the winter and the mountains of Tennessee.

Survivors include her dog and best friend, Rocky; daughter Charlotte (Nathan) Connor of Union City, IN; siblings Roy (Minnie) Gray of Union City, OH, Florence (Don) Harless of Winchester, IN, JD (Marsha) Gray of Sturgis, KY, Willard (Rosemary) Gray of Richmond, VA; grandchildren Jacob (Baylie) Connor, Jude Connor, Jayson Connor, Jared Connor, Mabry Connor, Kandee Leaver, Reva Leaver, Daniel Pugalee, Ethan Pugalee, Mariah Pugalee, Matthew Gray, great grandchildren William, Peyton, Alysa, Phoebe, Jackson, Rose, Wrenley, Loni; and special nieces Angie (Jon) Rieman, Wendy Gray, Lexi (Clayton) Gray, and Macy (Dillon) Gray; and honorary grandchild, Ava Grace Jefferis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry Leaver, son Lonnie D. Pugalee, siblings Nancy, Don, Gerald, Virgil, Blackburn, and Henderson.

There will be a public visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday January 23, 2026, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN. A service to honor Nora’s life will begin at 1:00 with burial to follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
