Neileen Hufford

Neileen Ingle Hufford, 90, formerly of Union City, OH, passed away, Monday, September 8, 2014, with her family by her side in Wooster, OH.

She was born December 3, 1923 in Randolph County, IN to the late Jim and Jenny (Hayes) Ingle. Neileen graduated from Jackson High School in 1941.  She married the late B. K. Hufford on January 31, 1942.

Neileen, a homemaker, spent many wonderful years with her husband at their home on Lake James in Angola, IN.  Neileen was an avid gardener and spent some time working as a florist. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and working in her flower gardens.

Neileen was an active part of the church community. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Neileen also enjoyed quilting, which she shared with many family and friends.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in events and activities and recently became a fan of Lebron James.

She is survived by children: Sharon (Dennis) Stull of Centerville, OH; Steve (Barbara Brooks) Hufford of Wooster, OH; (Karen) Sue Hufford of Belize, Central America; Keith Hufford of Union City, OH; and James Hufford of Union City, IN. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Neileen was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, and her husband B.K. Hufford.

Visitation will be held at Reichard Funeral Home, Union City, IN on Friday, September 12^th, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and funeral services Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Teegarden Cemetery.
