Mary E. Stein, 86, of Union City, Indiana passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Randolph Nursing Home. She was born June 17, 1929 in Monticello, KY to the late Charles W. and Laura (Bunch) Dick.
  Mary retired from the Union City Body Company office after many years of service.  She was the Union City Country Club champion for 3 years, was an avid bowler, belonged to a bridge club, and was also a member of Happy Cruisers Camping Club.
  She leaves to cherish her memory; 3 children, Edith (Darrell) Clevenger of Union City, Ind., Judi (Larry) Bates of Monticello, KY, and Becky Reed (Bill) Moore of Indianapolis, Ind.; grandchildren, Jason (Roxy) Welch, Justin (Carrie) Welch, Rob Clevenger, Crystal (Kevin) Hagan, Luke (Michelle) Bates, Travis (Tara) Moore, Nathan Moore, and Jared Moore; siblings, Louetta Fields of Winchester, Ind., and Charles Ray Thompson of Somerset, KY.; nieces and nephews also.
  Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard G. Stein “2011;” half siblings, Marcellus Dick, Rufus L. Dick, Oscar L. Dick, Flonnie Dick Massengale, Bessie J. Cooper, and Warner E. Dick.
  Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Rd. Union City, Ind. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Union City Cemetery.
  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Community Foundation of Randolph County Class of 1970 Scholarship Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com.
