Mary Ruth Wigger

Mary Ruth Wigger 84 of Union City, IN passed away Sunday April 9, 2023, at her residence.  She was born on July 25, 1938, to the late Jack and Thelma (Wyrick) Wymer.

Mary Ruth worked at Westinghouse for several years.  She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, and making saddles for headstones.

Survivors include her children; Rex Prescott of Winchester, IN, Julie Pigg (Steve Cox) of Winchester, IN, Danny L. (Brenda) Wigger of Union City, OH, Jane (Don) Landis of Versailles, OH, sister; Carolyn (Ronnie) Stivers of Union City, OH, grandchildren; Jeremy Pigg, Christy Fidler, Taeler Prescott, Kyle Allan Prescott, Christina Himelick, Rachael Himelick, Marjorie Larie, Elisabeth Heskett, Mandy, Luke Landis, Darin Landis, and several great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Norman Prescott as well as her second husband Danny E. Wigger, son; Steven Wigger, and siblings; Junior Wymer, Billy John Wymer, Harry Wymer, P.I. Wymer, Max Wymer, Richard Wymer, Lilly Wymer, and Sally Laisure.

Visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday April 13, 2023, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, IN 47390. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in Fountain Park Cemetery Winchester, IN.
