Mary Juanita Roberson

  MARY JUANITA ROBERSON, 97, passed away Saturday December 3, 2016 at Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester, Indiana. Juanita was born October 9, 1919 in Darke County, Ohio daughter of the late Roy & Blanche (Robbins) Bankson. Juanita worked for the Union City Police Dept and Randolph County Sheriff’s Dept for over 23 years, was a member of the First Christian Church in Union City, FOE Eagles Auxiliary #2177 of Greenville, Ohio, and the Winchester Moose.
 Survivors include her children, Beverly Cortner-Winchester, Indiana, June (Nolan) Besecker-U.C., Indiana, Robert Roberson-U.C., Indiana; grandchildren, Debbie (Patrick) Seidl, David (Vickie) Cortner, Darlene (Dave) Trittschuh, Connie Donovan, Delbert Dee (Karen) Cortner Jr., Nola (Curt) Ditmars, Dawn (Steve) McCord; 16 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jean Cipriano-Boynton Beach, Florida, Phyllis Thomas-Greenville, Ohio;  3 brothers, Wayne Bankson-Edward, Missiouri, Eldon Bankson-Troy, Ohio, Dean (Arlene) Bankson-Greenville, Ohio;  nieces and nephews also.
  Preceded by her parents; husband, Gilbert (Gib) Roberson; sister, Helen Gibson; 2 brothers, Chick Bankson, Doyle Bankson.
 Visitation is 5-8 P.M. Tuesday December 6, 2016 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City. Services are 10:00 A.M. Wednesday December 7, 2016 also at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Weimer officiating. Burial will follow in Union City Cemetery.
