Mary Joyce Miller, 101, passed away Saturday February 20, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio.
She was born February 5, 1915 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Marcus and Anna (Finch) Bell.
Mary was a children’s Librarian at the Union City Public Library for many years, where her story time intrigued and entertained many children throughout the years. She was also a member of the Wesley United Methodist church of Union City.
Survivors include; children, Tom (Marilyn) Miller of Woodstock, GA, Jack (Sumathy Reddy) Miller of Atlanta, GA, Brenda Bruss of Dayton, OH, John (Nancy) Miller of Athens, GA; grandchildren, Jacqueline Bruss, Preethi Reddy Veluri, and Michael Reddy Miller; nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded by her parents; husband, Donald ‘Jack’ Oren Miller “2005;†and a sister, Betty Elliott.
Services are 12:00 noon Wednesday February 24, 2016 with visitation one hour prior at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery with the Rev. Geoff Grow officiating.
