Mary "Kathy" Reck

Mary “Kathy” Reck passed away on December 23, 2025. She was born in Hillgrove, Ohio on May 4, 1942, to the late Kenneth Kessler and Ruth Wagner. She graduated from Mississinawa Valley High School. She held several jobs after graduation but her most accomplished was Kathy’s Bike Shop which she started in Daleville, Indiana. After closing her bike shop she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kathy enjoyed watching game shows and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Scott (Mary) McKnight, J. Todd (Tina) McKnight, Benny “Wade” (Terri) McKnight, Tina (Mike Lewis) Hinds, grandchildren Christine (Jeffrey) Jackson, Olivia McKnight, Justin (Samaria) McKnight, Ryan (Courtney) McKnight, Evy Hinds, great grandchildren, James McKnight, Maddison and Dallas McKnight.

Per Kathy’s wishes, there will be no visitation with graveside services at Union City Brethren Cemetery on December 29, 2025, at 1:00.
