ORGANIZATIONS/CLUBS: She attended South Salem Church of Christ where she was a Ladies Aide for the Missionary Society, Community Help Center Volunteer, Randolph County Extension Homemaker’s Association.  Mary loved arts and crafts and enjoyed cooking.  She also enjoyed and helped the needy and elderly people of Randolph County.

SURVIVED BY:  3 Children; Ritchie L. (Linda) Carpenter of Herkimer, NY, Alice J. (Keith) Gardner of Shelbina, MO, and Larry D. (Becky) Carpenter of Union City, IN.  Grandchildren; Emma Jane Carpenter, Kyle Richard Carpenter, Mary Alice Gardner, Brian Keith Gardner, Elizabeth Ann Gardner, Quinton (Misty) Carpenter, Theron (Holly) Carpenter, and Tyson Carpenter.  6 Great Grandchildren.  1 Sister, Jean Cotter.  Nieces and nephews also survive.

PRECEDED BY:  Parents and her husband, Richard L. Carpenter “2011.”

VISITATION:  5-7 PM Sunday July 8, 2012 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc.

SERVICES:  10 AM Monday July 9, 2012 at the South Salem Church of Christ

OFFICIATING:  Rev. Keith Gardner and Rev. Matt Miller

Burial:  Spartanburg Cemetery, Spartanburg, IN

MEMORIALS: South Salem Church Ladies Aide fund with envelopes available at the Funeral Home.
