Marla Meeks

Marla Gwili (Jordan) Meeks, 58, of Winchester, Indiana passed away on the morning of January 30, 2017 after a long and courageous battle against Lou Gehrig’s disease or ALS. She was under the dedicated care of the staff at Pine Knoll Nursing Home.
She was born July 31, 1958 daughter of the late Richard “Dick” and Gwili “Jill” Jordan. Marla graduated from Mississinawa Valley High School in 1977. The Indiana Glass Factory several nursing homes were just a few of the companies she worked for. However, her real love was cooking, especially desserts. She’d give you the shirt off her back and feed you more than you could eat. She had a contagious smile, laugh and a quick wit.
Marla is survived by her brothers, Herb Jordan of Satelite Beach, FL, Chad (Stacy) Jordan of Union City, Ohio; a sister, Tonda Jordan of Cumming, GA; 3 nieces; 2 nephews also.
Memorial services are 2:00 P.M. Friday February 3rd, 2017 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN with Pastor Matt Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services also at the funeral home.
