Mark D Leeka

February 21, 1957 — January 20, 2021

Mark D. Leeka, 63, of Winchester, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday January 20, 2021 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. Mark was born February 21, 1957 at the Union City Hospital son of the late Keith W. and Mary Ann Sipe Leeka.
Mark was a fun loving son, husband, brother, uncle and friend to so many. He loved going on many fishing trips with his dad and friends to Canada and all over the United States.
Mark worked many different jobs and eventually did small engine repair. He was an asset to the Saratoga Fire Department for 46 years and was able to get the Saratoga-Ward Fire Territory formed. Mark also held the Ward Township Trustee position for 34 years. Mark and his wife Teresa were members of True Life Church in Greenville, OH. He helped run the sound system at TLC and many times the pastor asked him for a ride home. According to his mother-in-law, Edna Mills, Mark was the best driver ever. He has also helped with the annual fish fry's and fund raising for the food pantry at VFC. He and Teresa enjoyed trips to Myrtle Beach, New Orleans, Daytona, Missouri, Mexico and Alaska. Mark was a mentor to so many and enjoyed helping others.
Survivors include his loving wife, Teresa Mills Pearson-Leeka; step son, Gregory Pearson of Munice; his precious dog Petey; sisters, Claudia Graham of Parker City, Kim Crabtree (Milton) of Saratoga; nieces, Sherry Oda, Stephanie (Gary) Stewart; nephews, Albert Eastman, Keith Ray Crabtree and Chris Crabtree; several great nieces and nephews also.
He was preceded by his parents; in-laws, Leland and Edna Mills; sister, Susan Eastman; brother-in-law, Steven Graham, David Eastman; niece, Michelle Graham; and great niece Sierra Eastman Fisher.
