Marjorie L. Bloomer

Marjorie L. Bloomer, 93, of Union City, IN passed away Saturday May 28, 2022 at Reid Hospital. She was born November 01, 1928 daughter of the late Jesse and Ethel (Holderman) Westfall. She married Jesse Bloomer and he preceded her in death in 1992.

Marjorie was a lifelong resident of Union City, IN, a member of the Union City Church of The Brethren as well as the Hub City Red Hatters.  Her hobbies include traveling the outdoors to visit friends and relatives, bowling, golfing, and horseshoes at family reunions.  She owned and operated a local coffee shop for many years.

 Survivors include her two special friends Arnold and Susie Norton,  brother in laws; Roger Hunt and Andy Hatcher  as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband , and was the last living of 11 children; Wanda Christina Westfall, Betty June, Warren William, Robert Nelson, Harold Gene, Margaret Louise, Carolyn Sue, Lu Emma Mae, Judith Ann, and Helen Colleen.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 West Deerfield Road Union City, IN 47390

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Marjorie's life will begin at 12 noon with Pastor Sam Shilot officiating.  Burial will take place at Union City Cemetery.
