Marilyn Moore

February 18, 1929 — January 21, 2018

FORMERLY OF UNION CITY, IN  -  Marilyn Moore, 88, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2018.

She graduated from West Side High School in Union City, IN with the class of 1947, then Graduated from Ball State University in 1952 with a Nursing degree. She was a RN and a surgical nurse at the Union City Memorial Hospital where she also served as Medical Surgery Interim Director of Nursing.

Marilyn's hobbies included boating, snowmobiling, water skiing, jet skiing, playing cards, sewing and living on her farm in the country. She also loved music, playing the piano, organ, singing in the choir, barbershop quartet and was a piano accompanist. Every summer for 35 years she enjoyed her place on Lake Jimmerson in Angola, IN. She was a member of Delta Theta Sorority, also was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Union City Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Franz Moore "1983."  They were married for 33 years.

Marilyn is survived by three children, Susan Tinkle (Bill) Hagerstown ,IN, Sherlyn Eukovich (Bob) Plant City, FL, and Steve Moore (Donna) Bargersville, IN; five grandchildren, Brent Tinkle, Hagerstown, IN, Brad Tinkle (Maria) Indianapolis, IN, Bryan Tinkle (Misty) Hagerstown, IN, Brittany Eukovich Huntington Beach, CA, Stephanie Eukovich Tampa, FL; eight great-grandchildren, Regan, Olivia, Bryce, Braylin, Bella, Alex, Sophia, and Andrew Tinkle.
  
  Calling will be Saturday January 27th, 2018 from 1:00 till 2:00 at Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, Indiana with Rev. Melinda Gapen officiating. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery.
