Marilyn Arlyn Maloy, age 81, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Friday, January 29, 2022.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Millard and Vivian Beech; her husband Donald Maloy; and her stepson Billy Maloy.
She is survived by her stepchildren: Donna (Ray) Reish of Fort Wayne, IN; Tami (Leonard) Foster of Rocky Mount, NC; Lisa Caupp of Union City, IN; Keith (Jamie) Maloy of Union City, IN; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marilyn was born and grew up in Portland, IN. She graduated from Portland High School. She had an outstanding 40+ year career with United Telephone in Union City, Portland, Warsaw, and Plymouth, IN.
She and her husband enjoyed traveling, their VFW and American Legion involvement, and their kids and grandkids. Marilyn also enjoyed art, helping others, and attending chapel and groups at Lutheran Life Village where she had an apartment for the last ten years.
A memorial service will be held in her honor in the chapel at Lutheran Life Village 6723 S. Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Burial will be a private family ceremony. She will be interred at the cemetery in Union City, Indiana.
