Margaret " Jane" Smith age 76 of Winchester, IN passed away on April 1, 2021. She was born in Union City, IN to the late Noel T. and Inez (Puckett) Carpenter. She Married Max Smith on July 30 1966 and he survives.
Jane enjoyed spending time with her family as well as playing a good game of cards.
Survivors include her husband Max of 55 years, Sons; Brian (Amy) Smith of Trafalgar, IN, Brent Smith of Union City, IN, daughter; Stephanie Ingle of Union City, IN, brother; Max Carpenter of KY, sisters; Sue Bressler of PA, Roberta Buell of IN, grandchildren; Brenden Smith and Haylie Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, David Carpenter, Pat Carpenter, and Noel "Bud" Carpenter, and son-in-law Andy Ingle.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday April 5, 2021, at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation a service to celebrate Margaret's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Sonny Pettie officiating. Burial will take place at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
