Marcella "Sally" A. Wilcox

Marcella “Sally” A. Wilcox, 97 passed away Wednesday June 7, 2023, in Dayton, OH. She was born on May 22, 1926, to the late Clem and Ada (Sargent) Neargarder.

She was a longtime resident of Randolph County, IN and a 1944 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Church and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a homemaker and was married 57 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Laman Wilcox Jr., son Gary Wilcox, and siblings Thelma Beireis, Pauline Shumaker, Koty Key, Lewis Neargarder, and Ralph Neargarder.

Survivors include her children; Linda Kenney, Diane (Steve) Passage of Beavercreek, OH, grandchildren; Bart Kenney, Jonathan (Mandie) Passage, Matthew (Kristie) Passage, Mark (Charlotte) Passage, and Sally (Michael) Cox, along with 16 great-grandchildren. Siblings are Irvin and Lawrence (Francis) Neargarder along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place at Pleasant Hill Church 9945 N. 800 E, Union City, IN 47390 on Monday June 12, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with pastor Bruce Bryan officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
