Lynn Alden Mills, 75, of Pennville, Indiana, passed away on Friday June 26, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend whose life was marked by hard work, kindness, and a love for his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Annie Mills; his children, Nathan Mills, Menisha Davis, Felisa Mills, and Kenneth Jermaine (Naomi) Mills; his grandchildren, Zaedran Heitkamp, Kya Davis, Rylan Davis, Kolton Mills, Jeremy Mills, Jasmin Mills, Dillon Mills, Dante Mills, Andrew Mills, and Alexis Mills; his twin brother, Quinn (Melissa) Mills; and his nephews, Ryan (Denise) Mills and Jared Mills. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Hilda Mills; his sister, Diantha Mills; his son, Michael Duane Mills; and his granddaughter, Allison Bree Mills.

Lynn was born on April 3, 1951, and was raised on his family's farm in Rossville, Indiana. It was there he learned the value of hard work at an early age. He often spoke fondly of those days, sharing stories of working alongside his father and his twin brother. Throughout his life, he carried that same strong work ethic into every job he held.

He worked for many years at Fisher Packing, where he formed close friendships. He was also employed by General Foods, Troutwines, and as a groundskeeper, and friend of the late Marilyn Kirwin.

Known for his friendly nature, Lynn had a gift for making friends wherever he went. He was a man who enjoyed conversation, and he took great pride in his family. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

Lynn will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his sense of humor, and the kindness he showed to others. His legacy lives on through the family he loved and the lives he touched. His memory will be cherished forever by all who knew and loved him.
