Linda Jo Barga

Linda Jo “LJ” Barga, went to join her heavenly Father on September 1, 2023, surrounded by family in her home.

 LJ was born July 23, 1957, to Georgianna (Bantz) Jones and Dallas Jones.  She grew up in Union City, Ohio, where she raised her three daughters. She was loved and adored by many and was known for being kind, loving and honest soul.

 She is survived by loving and devoted husband, Jeff Barga, daughters Lisa (Mike) Blum, Lori (Jason) Matchett and Amy (Cody) Wicker, stepdaughter Amanda Jones and stepsons Mathew, Micah, and Christopher Barga.

LJ has generously donated her body to the Anatomical Education Program at the Indiana School of Medicine. This donation will significantly contribute to the advancement of health sciences in Indiana.

Services will be held later (to be announced). In lieu of flowers LJ’s family requests donations be made to AseraCare Hospice Care of Richmond, Indiana, who helped care so greatly for LJ in her final days.
