Leona L. Welch, 94, passed away Wednesday December 9, 2020 at the Randolph Nursing Home. She was born February 19, 1926 to the late Ezra and Lorene Lowe Warren.
She was married for 74 years to her late husband, Duane G. Welch. Leona worked as a cook at Union City Community High School and North Side Elementary where she retired from after 35 years of service.
Survivors include her children, Sharon (Rick) Williams of Union City, IN, Ronald Welch, Donald (Teresa) Welch both of Union City, OH; grandchildren, Angie (Brian) Woodard, Erick (Georgiana) Williams, Tony (Nancy) Frazier, Laura Welch, Kelli Welch, Carla Welch, Kylee Welch; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Alma (Joe) Stoner; son-in-law, Joseph Frazier; nieces and nephews also.
She was preceded by her parents; husband, Duane G. Welch "2019;" daughter, Carolyn Sue Frazier; siblings, Helen Davis, Eva Hummel, Jack Warren, Leon "Bus" Warren, Donald (Carolyn) Warren; grandchildren, Lisa Buening, Cathy Berkhart, Amos Welch and Andrew Welch; great grandson, Dylan Williams.
