Lawrence B Roberts

Lawrence B. Roberts, 86, passed away Tuesday November 27, 2018 at the Randolph Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 3, 1932 in Lynn, IN to the late Troy Mitchell & Leatha Faye Phenis Roberts. Lawrence was a factory worker and farmer, member of Praise Chapel Church, Jayland Trotting Association, raced standard bred horses, and loved I.U. basketball.
Survivors include his wife of 66 Yrs., Kay Jessup Roberts; children, Terry (Rebecca) Roberts of Ridgeville, IN, Susanne (Steve) Detrick of Winchester, IN, Les (Beth) Roberts of Portland, IN; grandchildren, Jeff Roberts, Kimberly Bailey, Ericka (Doug) Beitler, Mitchel Roberts, Angela (Rodney) O'Conner, Amber (Sean) Richardson, Ariel (Billy) Green, Preston Roberts, Bryce (Katelyn) Roberts, Jeb Roberts, Marsi (Dr. Justin) Roberts, Clayton (Mehgan) Reinhart; 17 great grandchildren; a sister, Jennetta Goubeaux of Witt Springs, AR.
Preceded by his parents; a daughter, Julie Fisher; 2 brothers, Lowell Roberts, Oakland Roberts.
Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday December 29, 2018 at the Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Services are 10:30 AM Friday November 30, with the Rev. Rich Collins and Rev. David Perry officiating also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Praise Chapel Cemetery.
