Larry Earl Ingle

Larry Earl Ingle, age 76, of Union City, IN passed away on June 7, 2025, at Reid Hospital. He was born in Union City, Indiana on March 31, 1949, to Gerald and Mary Agnes (Baxter) Ingle.

Larry attended college at Purdue University where he studied engineering. He moved back home from college and started a successful construction business in Union City. Larry was the owner of Ingle Construction, where he worked alongside his sons, Aaron and Andy Ingle, for many years. Larry and his friend, Lowell Whitacre joined businesses where they created Whitacre Floor Coverings. Lowell Whitacre has preceded his friend Larry in death.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary Agnes Ingle, his wife of 52 years, Nancy (Conner) Ingle, and his son, Andy Ingle.

Larry is survived by two children - his daughter Amy (Rob) Lykins and his son, Aaron (Nicole) Ingle. His grandchildren: Alyssa Lykins, Ashlee (Alex) Rittenhouse, Corrie Lykins, Lane (Katelynn) Ingle, Lucas Lykins and Tenley Ingle. His great grandchildren: Harper and Andy Ingle and Blakely and Waveland Rittenhouse. Larry is also survived by his sister, Sue (Ingle) Kaneaster.

Per Larry’s wishes, there will be no services.
