Kenneth E. Shadle

Kenneth E. Shadle, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Union City IN on March 13, 2022.Born on Jan. 26, 1939, he was the son of Richard T. and Lottie (McCracken) Shadle. 

Ken graduated from New Lyme Deming High School in 1957. Throughout his life he kept in contact with family and friends, and made it a priority to attend the annual Alumni Reunions .

He was a veteran of the US Army serving overseas in Turkey as a cryptologist.

Ken retired from General Motors after 30 years working in Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati.

While living in Columbus, Ken enjoyed ushering at the Ohio Theater. Through the years he greatly enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, baking and flower and vegetable gardening.

Ken is survived by his close friend Tim Barth, Union City IN , his brother Dale(Donnann) Shadle, Chambersburg PA. His sister in law Rosalie Shadle, Cherry Valley OH, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother David Shadle and his nephew Ricky Shadle.

Burial and memorial service will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery Cherry Valley Ohio at the convenience of the family. For additional information on the graveside service date and time please contact Tim at tbarthgvo@gmail.com
