In Loving Memory of Ken King

We are saddened that after a nearly 3 year incredible battle with cancer, on Saturday, July 11, we lost Kenneth King a wonderful father to three amazing children and a proud grandfather to two precious grandchildren, who brought him incredible pride and joy.

He was one of the kindest people – smart, carefree, loving, endlessly funny, and truly a child at heart. He had a gift for filling a room with laughter! He was a long suffering Lions fan and had a love for hockey that he passed on to his children. He also passed on his dry humor and love for a good pun or a “knee slapper” joke. His love for his family and friends will be deeply missed, but forever remembered.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, his three children, his two grandchildren, his sister, brother and many extended family members/friends.

The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, cards, or gifts, memorial donations may be made to the Novi Assarian Cancer Center of Novi in his honor.

Mailing a Check:

Please make the check payable to HF Providence Foundation. In the memo section of the check, please include the fund you wish for your gift to go toward (in this case Assarian Cancer Center). You may also enclose a note or letter with gift fund instructions.
