Kay Ilene Roberts

Kay Ilene Roberts 90, of Union City, IN passed away on October 13, 2026 at Pineknoll Health Rehabilitation Center in Winchester. She was born in Union City on April 3, 1936 to the late Gerald and Lelia (Fraze) Jessup.

Kay was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a member of Praise Chapel Church where she worked when needed.

Survivors include her children; Terry (Rebecca) Roberts of Ridgeville, IN, Susanne (Stephen) Detrick of Winchester, IN, Les (Beth) Roberts of Portland, IN, grandchildren; Kimberly Bailey, Jeff Roberts, Mitchel Roberts, Erica Roberts, Angie O’Connor, Ariel Green, Preston Roberts, Bryce Roberts, Jeb Roberts, Marsi Roberts, Clayton Reinhart, Katie Grey, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence Roberts, daughter Julie Fisher, siblings, Robert Jessup, William Jessup, Kenny Jessup, Cindy Jessup, granddaughter Amber Richardson, and grandson Ryan Fisher.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Kay’s life will begin at 1:00 with burial to follow at New Pittsburg Cemetery.
