Joyce Ann Stapleton

Joyce Ann Stapleton, 75, of Union City, Indiana passed away Thursday June 23, 2016 at her residence. She was born June 3, 1941 in Union City, Indiana, daughter of the late Alva & Margaret Elizabeth Welch. Joyce worked at Lobdell Emery in Winchester for 21 years, loved reading and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, DuWayne Stapleton of U.C. Ind., Pam (Stapleton) Potokar of Winchester, Ind., Jeff Stapleton of U.C., Ind., Lisa (Stapleton) Kenny Downing of Farmland, Ind., Robin (Stapleton) Jeff Spence of U.C., Ind.; 10 grandchildren, Justin Fields, Brayden Fields, Kristy Boyer, Abby Stapleton, Terry Holden, Tyler Holden, Elizabeth Beshears, Joshua Spence, Shawnnasee Stapleton, Brian Downing; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Don (Linda) Welch of U.C., Ind., 4 sisters, Elizabeth Lowrance of Parker City, Ind., Martha Midlam of Winchester, Ind., Betty Smiley of U.C., Ind., Diana Bruss of Florida.
Joyce was preceded by her parents; husband, Palmer Stapleton “March 24, 2015;” sister, Patsy Welch; 2 brothers, Jim and Bill Welch.
Services are 7:00 P.M. Monday June 27, 2016 at Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, Indiana. Visitation is 5-7 P.M. Monday also at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
