John I Martin

UNION CITY, Ohio – John I. Martin, 80, of 919 E. Elm St., Union City, Ohio, died Nov. 23, 2016, at his home.
  He was born December 29,1935 in Wayne County, Indiana, son of the late Harry E. & Ethel Mae Kessler Martin.
  John worked at the Union City Mould for 30 Yrs and then Union City Non-Ferrous for 12 Yrs. retiring in 1996.
  He is survived by his children; Ruth Ann (Mike Hubba) Hummel of Union City, Ohio, Karen Jane Himes of Arch Dale, N.C., James (Kerri) Martin of Winchester, Ind., Shirley (Bruce) Gower of Union City, Ind., Kenneth (Aimee) Martin of Greenville, Ohio, and Jennifer Martin of Polk City, Fla.; 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; siblings Walter Martin of U.C., Ohio, Barbara Jean Sliger of Cookville, TN; nieces and nephews also.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nettie Martin; 2 brothers; Harold & LeRoy Martin.
  Visitation is 12 noon – 2:00 p.m. Monday Nov. 28th, 2016 at Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, Ind. Services will be at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Fee officiating. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery.
