John K. Cattell 72, of New Weston, Ohio passed away October 1, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born July 24, 1948 to the late Kenneth & Helen (Hummel) Cattell.
John served 4 years in the United States Air Force after graduating in 1967 from Mississinawa Valley High School. He worked at New Idea until an accident left him wheel chair bound. John enjoyed making wooden toys, shelves, and other wood items that he took to Craft Shows. He enjoyed meeting and talking to people at these shows.
He will be missed by his brother, George (Darlene) Cattell of U.C., Ohio; 2 nieces, Tonya (Chris) Kelly of Ansonia, Ohio, Hope (Chris) Schrader of Bradford, Ohio; 3 nephews, Ken (Deb) Cattell of Greenville, Ohio, Jason (Tombo) Cattell of Isaquaw, Washington, Lee (Maya) Cattell of Richmond, Indiana; 11 great nieces and great nephews also survive.
He was preceded by his parents.
Due to Covid, the family will have private graveside services, where John will be buried beside his parents in the Lisbon Cemetery, Union City, Indiana.
