Joanne F. Cotter

Joanne F. “Jodi” Cotter, 66, formerly of Union City, Indiana passed away May 19, 2025, in Colorado. She was born Feb. 21, 1959, in Indianapolis, IN daughter of the late Regis Robert & Margaret Forbes. Jodi was a member of the Delta Theta Tau sorority for many years.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Adam (Sarah) Cotter of Union City, IN; grandchildren, Isaiah and Gatlin Cotter; siblings, Margaret “Peg” Janssen, Constance “Connie” (Lynn) Rybak, Mary Pat (Josie) Forbes, Scott (Debbie) Forbes; nieces and nephews also.

She was preceded by her parents, siblings Marybeth Forbes, Lisa Forbes, Steve Forbes, Jeff Forbes and Doug Forbes.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025, from 2-4 PM at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Parish Hall. Burial was held in the Union City Cemetery.
