ANSONIA, OHIO – James “Jim†Lester, 68, passed away Monday Feb. 1st, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born August 28th, 1947 in Tazewell, VA, son of the late Thomas and Ruth Dowdy Murray.
Jim was a self employed Handy Man, and a US Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Jerilyn Hummel Lester; children, Maryianne (Mike) Hawkey of Union City, Ind., Dawn Patterson of Winchester, Ind., Thomas (Brenda) Lester of Union City, Ohio, Linda (Billy) Williams of Covington, Ohio, and Christopher Lester, of Greenville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a sister, Ruby (Al) Comer of Tazewell, VA.
He was preceded by his parents; a brother, Dave Murray; and a sister, Sue Murray.
Memorial services are 2:00 P.M. Friday Feb. 5th, at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Rd. Union City, IN. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
