Inez I. Clevenger

Inez Irene Clevenger 108 of Union City, IN went to be with the lord on November 11, 2023.  She was born on October 28, 1915, in Darke County Ohio to the late John and Bessie Lindemuth.  She married Ralph Eugene Clevenger in 1942 in Greenville Ohio. They had one Son Eugene who was born in 1945. 

Inez was one of the founders of the Union City Community Help Center.  She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Jackson Home Extension Club, Cecilian Music Club, and Alpha Delta Omega Sorority. 

Survivors include her sister Myrtle McKnight, daughter in law Marty (James) Perkins, grandchildren Troy (Justyna) Clevenger, Blake (Alyssa) Clevenger, great grandchildren Olivia Clevenger, Tyler Clevenger, Charlotte Clevenger, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and four brothers, Harold, Edgar, Luther, Marvin, and a sister, Marybelle Washington. 

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday November 16, 2023, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN. 

 A Funeral Service to celebrate Inez’s life will be held at 10:00 am, on November 17, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church 1470 W. State Route 28 Union City, IN with burial following at New Lisbon Cemetery.
